In early October 2026 the street freestyler Kevin Wai, known as Kevincito, walked up to the Dominican dembow artist Bulin 47 outside a restaurant in Spain with a portable speaker and his phone, and Bulin 47 answered the beat on the spot. Kevin posted it on October 2; the clip passed nine million views on TikTok and millions more on Instagram within days, and the "dame hombro" (give me a shoulder) bounce became a challenge and then a released song, Dame Hombro.
The AI trend recasts that one take: the same red-lit doorway, the security and the crowd filming on phones, the speaker in the foreground and the same gestures, with a new person in the lead. People make it with their own face, a friend's, or a famous face, and post it on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
